Come learn the art of this amazing ancient trade!
Gabriel + Jen will teach you the basics of blacksmithing while you
create a design of your choosing from the options below.

Workshops will be implemented in one hour time slots in groups of four persons.
The first session begins at 10:00am and the last begins at 2:00pm.

 Join us for a plant walk around Bradford Market! Learn how to identify medicinal plants and trees of autumn and how to prepare remedies for winter.
​Led by Kendall Hathcock, trained clinical herbalist and forager.

Open to all levels of learning.
Botanical workbook included.

 Join us for a plant walk around Bradford Market! We will learn about local, edible, and medicinal plants, identification, safe and sustainable harvesting, preparations, and a brief introduction of herbal medicine. Led by Kendall Hathcock, clinical herbalist and forager with seven years experience. Open to all levels of learning.

You will receive a sketchbook and pencil to take notes in and to draw sketches of the plants for future reference!

​Ages 16 and older, a $20 non-refundable registration fee is required and covers the cost of instruction and materials. Seat are limited so give us a call or stop in to reserve your spot!

Local homesteader, Megan Ross, will be here to lead a discussion on the benefit of gluten free sourdough and how it differs from wheat-based starters. She will teach you how to start your own starter from wild yeasts, discuss the benefits of cultured foods, and demonstrate how to feed a starter. Megan will also share recipes and flour blends to help you find the texture you desire.

You will also get to take a sourdough starter home with you!

DIY Deodorant Workshop
Saturday, April 27, 2024 | 1:00pm - 3:00pm

Certified herbalist, Ivy Ham, will be here to teach us how to make our own natural deodorant. She will provide a helpful informational talk on the harmful ingredients in modern chemical deodorants and how they can affect our short- and long-term health, and the benefits of using organic natural alternatives in this daily hygiene process.
You will get to make your own deodorant to take home, and Ivy will guide you through the process from beginning to end. Bring a notepad and pen so that you can note the process to continue making your own deodorant at home.

A registration fee* of $20 is required to reserve your spot, and covers the cost of all ingredients and materials (only organic ingredients will be used). Register by end of day Thursday, 4/18. Seats are limited!
